Growing up on a western Nebraska farm observing his father’s common-sense approach to markets, Rhett Montgomery worked as a grain merchandiser before a stint with a Nebraska grain brokerage firm. His approach to commodity markets combines remaining mindful of seasonal price tendencies, while paying attention to non-commercial positions in the market and the use of forward contracts and other pricing tools to limit risk. Rhett holds a BA in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
